The Carnival

Yet again more information about the carnival. Being the biggest annual event for the Stannington village, Stannington Carnival see's thousands of people flood from the city and beyond, to see the vast variety of stalls, costumes and performances brought together for this charity event.

With over 120 stalls filling two huge fields and the Lomas Hall, the carnival has something to offer for everyone. With massive plots, visiting a stall is easier than ever as you have plenty of space to view the items for sale. The Carnival offer a huge variety of entertainment from bouncy castles or paint balling and even classic cars you are sure to never be left out!

Unfortunately there is still no word on the parade but im sure it will be as good as previous years. Remember to make sure you are free on the 7th of July at 12pm when the carnival kicks off. Their is a suggested donation of £1 for adults entry and it goes direct to The Stannington Carnival Organisers (SCOFF) and all profits gets given to charities and local groups which enrich and enhance the life of residents nearby.
